Calcutta Fishing: integrated branding program
Description
This is work I developed for an outdoor sporting goods company, Calcutta Fishing. The logo graphic was based on their old logo and motto of “Pirate in the Blood…Fishing in the Soul”. The website was designed to reflect the style of their catalogs and their e-commerce site hosed on Amazon.

Embarq: consumer print
EMBARQ was a phone, Internet and DISH TV provider spun off from Sprint and sold a few years later to CenturyLink. Sometime in between we created this fun and imaginative print campaign with two extremely talented photographers - Dan Escobar and Jim Fiscus. The result was a library of images used across all forms of media, setting highest response rates for call-centers, and was awarded "Best of Show" for a Magazine Series by SIAA in 2010.

K&G Fashion Superstore: television commercials
Back before K&G Fashion Superstore inlisted Blair Underwood to pitch their wears, we did these spots that told a simple story.
“When you look good, you feel invincible”.
With a fresh approach to our “retail 15’s” we avoided doing cut-downs while keeping the humor and stunts... all in the name of well-priced fashion.

Greenies: graphic design/digital
The Greenies Brand believes staying healthy should be fun. They came to me wanting to educate all of their pet-owning facebook followers about the many different health issues their pets face. After sitting down with a copy of the brand standards and a five-page document filled with facts, stats, and a few little rules and lessons, an infographic seemed the logical device. I worked the whole thing out on a roll of brown paper before illustrating and building the digital files. In the end we were able to inform those pet owners on how the Greenies line of products can help maintain that healthy happy pet.

Krispy Kreme: television commercials
There’s no denying the transformational power of a Krispy Kreme doughnut. It’s like a shot of instant happiness in any situation. So we decided to put this theory to the test in the real world by inserting improv actors armed with Krispy Kreme doughnuts and hidden cameras into situations where people needed a lift. Their mission: make the world "happy all around." The result? Seven consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth.
Their mission: to make the world a happier place one box at a time. 2012 Advertising, Art Direction, Creative Direction -

TJ Maxx: television commercials
At TJ Maxx you can find the latest designer clothing at way less than department store prices. The goal of this campaign was to reach the non-TJ-shopper and show her how TJ shops the same showrooms and runways as department stores... kind of the proof behind the claim.

K&G Fashion Superstore: television commercials
AdWeek Online said, “These spots are diverting, goofy alternatives to the category's usual price-driven knockoffs plucked from adland's bargain bins. Whoa, that last sentence was hot. I feel invincible!”
These are the spring spots we did with K&G Fashion SuperStore. The creative idea we were communicating was “When you look good, you feel invincible.”

SunTrust: television commercial
It was the spring of 2008, and we were pitching a new piece of business —SunTrust. We were going after a bank at the very moment the banking industry was collapsing. The launch of the Live Solid campaign caught people at just the right time. It was at the forefront of the recession, and it truly resonated with people. SunTrust saw remarkable results from the campaign, helping them to not only weather the storm, but to be a bigger player in the new financial landscape. It spoke to people on such a level that graffiti artists started spray painting "being the joneses" on STOP signs.

SherrillTree: integrated branding program
The rebranding of the arborist supply company, Sherrill Tree was one of the more in-depth branding projects I’ve taken on. We started by developing a whole new brand identity system. A new logo, mission statement, graphic standards, photographic standards, packaging, signage, environmental graphics, trade show materials, print ads, online advertising, catalogs, direct mail and a total redesign of their web site which included an all new e-commerce site. And that was all done in the first year.

SunTrust: multiple media campaign
What happens when your bank changes hands? Is it still your bank? And what happens to all of your money — not to mention your peace of mind? This is exactly what people are wondering as Chase absorbed WaMu and Wells Fargo took over Wachovia.
And, especially in the case of Chase, the new banks are rolling out big ad campaigns to let everyone know they’ve come to town. So SunTrust had a unique opportunity: Switch disenfranchised bank customers to new SunTrust accounts and reassure existing SunTrust customers that they’re still banking on solid ground. enter the tagline: “WaMu is now chase. SunTrust is still SunTrust.” We roll out this campaign in markets chase is entering as they ramp up advertising efforts. 2013 Advertising, Art Direction, Creative Direction -
BeerTech: integrated branding program
BeerTech started out as a few friends who enjoyed sharing an adult beverage or two while working on and talking about cars. One thing led to another and the next thing we knew, we had built three race cars and an odd online cult-like following.

Michelin: integrated branding program
An integrated program for Michelin and its retail partners that built brand and dealer awareness, image and loyalty within the local soccer community. In its simplest form, the program consisted of an in-store soccer ball giveaway and a league fund-raiser tied to Michelin sales.
The program consisted of pieces for distributor sales webinars, national trade print advertising, a league starter kit, and the MichelinSoccer.com site.

K&G Fashion Superstore: environmental graphics
It all started with the simple insight: "Clothes have power, both on one's appearance and one's psyche” and K&G helps people experience the power of clothes. The "Invincible" retail experience brought the sleek stylish qualities of the print together with the playful confidence of the television spots.

Remember the days of counting wireless minutes, worrying about call-time-of-day, off peak and on peak? In the height of it all, Embarq decided to give their customers a little holiday cheer and offer unlimited wireless minutes the entire month of December. you could literally call someone at midnight of December first, and not hang up until the new year at no cost to you.
People were running out of things to talk about, so we created unlimiteddecember.com. There were all kinds of calling activities that ate up your free wireless minutes. Caroling, wireless greetings, and even an excuse engine that would help get you out of awkward holiday gatherings. all recorded from your phone and sent to the number of your choice. 2011 Art Direction, Advertising, Web Design -
